    Make sure you guys change the Template of the page that the theme is using as its Static Front Page to your “Home Page” Template. Do that and your site will be back to normal.

    Step by step instructions:

    Go to Appearance -> Customize
    In the Customize menu go to General Settings -> Static Front Page
    Choose a page for the “Front Page” option
    Save -> Close the Customize menu
    Go to Pages -> Choose the page that you made the “Front Page” above
    Change the Template
