toekneetvHi, is there a way to make the search results look like the blog page? I would like the search results to show the category, date, and title above each post.

HashSorry, it is not possible because the search result contains post and pages as well. And the pages do not have categories.

But I was also wondering if I could have the search results show the date and the category they are tagged. They are all posts showing up, not pages.
HashSorry again, It is not possible without a change in code and customizing the code would fall under paid support if you want to continue.
