shawnmoore3I have tried multiple plug-ins and all of them are sharing the same wrong image when I share a post so I am assuming that it is something within the Theme.
I would like the featured image to share when I share a post on Facebook. However, they all pull up either the authors image or an ad image when the post is shared.
I activated another Theme to test it and each of the plugins worked correctly and shared the featured image on another theme.
Please advise how to set that the featured image be shared when a post is shared to social media.
I believe that it must be something with assigning a value to the “linkmedia” somewhere.

Using Yoast SEO plugin, you can configure to show featured image when shared in the social media. The theme itself does not define the Open Graph Meta Tags. Open Graph Meta tag play vital role on which image , title, description to display when shared on the Facebook.
