HashKeymasterYou don’t need to edit the code for it. Also on the update of the theme, all the edits get lost.
There is another way. Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste the below CSS code

You need to use a Default Template or Elementor Full Width Template. Currently the page template must be set to Home Page due to which you are having this problem. The page Temple will be available at the right sidebar of the page editor.
Also, make sure that you have set the setting “Enable Front Page” to “off”
