    Is there a place I can add my google analytics UA code? Or do I need a plugin for that?

    It depends on the plugin that you are using. Some plugin add codes in all the pages but some plugin allows selectively to add the code in particular pages only. So try playing with different available plugin. There are lots of free plugin available that allows to add code.
