I followed your steps to add the search button but was still not able to add the ajax search. Are you using the premium version?
All other settings have no problem with mobile and working properly.

HashKeymasterHow did you add ajax search to the menu? I am not able to replicate it.
The other menu is working fine and the mobile menu button is clickable.

Sorry for my initial recommendation. I consulted with our developer and they said that is not possible. Also making changes in any code is not recommended.
