The file is not renamed. You will have to open the file using FTP. The root folder in you server will have wp-content folder. Inside the wp-content folder there is a theme folder and then square folder. Inside the square folder you will see a file structure as in above thread image.

I just checked your website in my ipad and mobile device and it seems you have activated a jetpack mobile theme. With jetpack mobile theme activated, it will replace the theme default responsive with its responsive. Check this for more reference
You need to disable the jetpack mobile theme from the jetpack settings.

Sorry, it is not possible. The featured box section is supposed to show page not post. So if you want to show selected or latest post in that section than it would require some paid customization.
