You will need to edit the code in the header.php file to remove the link for the logo.

1. Front page
a. I am unable to get the latest blog section and email subscription section to show up
b. I was able to see the social icon in the preview page, however, when I published the page, the icons were gone?
c. I have a menu on top of front page, but when click upon it, there was no response?

You can customize the home page by making the copy of front-page.php file in the child theme and then edit it according to your requirement.

May be there is some jquery conflict with some of the plugin used. Try checking by disabling all the plugins.

Try uploading image with width 1900px and 800px to increase the height of the slider.

The slider text does not support HTML tag. It is programmed to escape HTML tag and display as it is. So please use plain text for the slider caption.
