KCliftonHi, I am trying to slow down the speed of the slider on the home page. I have located the file in the FTP that needs changing but even when I change the 5000 figure it is over written when re-uploaded back to 5000. There is a child theme on our website due to some paid customisation and I was wondering if this is stopping the change in the FTP code.
also we want the opportunity to add more than 4 sliders, how is this done?

I did made a comparable experience. Unfortunately I did forgot to empty the server side cache. Knowing my suggestion seems stupid – it happens often…

HashTo change the slider speed, you need to change the js file. As you seem to have located the file, just increase the value of 5000 to 8000
And to add the extra slider, you will have to ask for the paid support.
