    I have a thin white line appearing between the masthead and the slider on the front page, and the masthead and the page title on other pages – how can I remove this?

    Also, although the slider images I have used are exactly the recommended sizes, the top of the image is cropped when displayed in the slider?

    These are minor issues but I would like to know how to fix them. Thanks again.

    I have the same problem with the slider, I follow your tutorial but home it always empty.

    HI,

    May be some of the plugin you can used might have cause the issue!

    It has nothing to do with plugins I am afraid – I deactivated EVERY plugin (except Custom CSS plugin) and the problem still was there. Can you please take another look at this.

    1. Thin line above slider image
    2. Images are fine on mobile/tablet but cropped top and bottom on desktop/laptop – despite using recommended size.

    Have just discovered that the second problem (cropped images) is caused when the sticky header is enabled in Customise ▸ General Settings ▸ Header Settings. Something for you to look at next upgrade.

    Still want to get rid of the white line though! 🙂

    Since I have disabled the sticky header, the page title strip doubles in height. How can i reduce the height?

    Here is the CSS

    .ht-main-header{padding:15px 0;}
    .ht-main-title{margin-bottom:0}

    That did not work – the yellow page title is now too small for the text.

    If I change the “padding” value to a higher number so that the text is all within the title bar, it still has too much space at the top.

    Also it has not fixed the problem of the white line between the masthead and the slider/page title bar

    To remove the white line

    .ht-main-header{max-height: 20px}

    Remove the above CSS and then try the CSS mentioned in the previous thread.
