nicodHi, is there a way to add a short author bio under each post? In that bio we would like the publish the author name and a short line about his/her expertise. Would it be possible to show us a php-code that we could add to single.php? I know that there are plugins that can do this, but I prefer a short piece of code to another plugin.

HashSorry, you will need to upgrade to the premium version for it. Or you might also find some free plugins that allow you to add the Author Bio.
Editing code is not a good idea unless you do it in a child theme as any update would wipe the edit the code.
