    I need a child theme for the Square theme. I searched for one online but the function.php file is not working properly. Can someone help. Thanks

    Once a site is setup using Square and the Customiser Home Page Sections, is it possible to transfer the content and settings to a child theme manually or via something like this plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/customizer-export-import/) ?

    Yes, the plugin that you mention will transfer all the customizer settings from parent to child theme.
