    Hi,
    Thank you for this great template.
    Is there a way to remove the blue colored strips from both sides of the slider caption overlay?

    Yes.

    Go to Appearance -> Customizer And in the Additional CSS field add the below CSS code

    .sq-slide-caption{
border: 0;
}

    How about changing the color of these?

    Sorry, the theme does not have option to change the color. You may use our Total Theme. It has option to change the template color.
